Welcoming the Delegation from the United States Forest Service

Within the framework of the project "Capacity building for wood identification towards the effective establishment and operation of the Wood Identification Center in Vietnam (V-WISC)" led by the Vietnamese Academy of Forest Sciences and funded by the United States Forest Service, on June 21, 2022, the U.S. Embassy and the United States Forest Service paid a visit to the Vietnamese Academy of Forest Sciences and the Forest Industry Research Institute to discuss the implementation plan of the sub-project and the next steps for cooperation. During this meeting, the U.S. delegation highly appreciated the warm welcome, preparation, and readiness of the Vietnamese Academy of Forest Sciences for the project. The delegation also inspected the infrastructure, including the laboratory of the Forest Industry Research Institute.
