The research on conservation treatment of historical wood—particularly the Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks—was honored at the 2024 Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Awards Ceremony. The project was rigorously evaluated and selected by the organizing committee, earning Third Prize in the field of Materials Technology.

The VIFOTEC Awards are held annually since 1995 by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Over the past 29 years, 3,252 projects have participated and 1,116 projects have received awards.
